The Certified Management Consultant (CMC) award is the ultimate accolade for consultants.

The IC is the only UK organisation accredited by the ICMCI to award CMC status.
Mapped to professional standards and achieved and achieved through a competency-based assessment process, CMC is a point of differentiation with a direct impact on your revenue potential.
To complete the CMC award you first need to be a Member or Fellow of the Institute of Consulting.
The process to complete the award is through what we call a Professional Discussion (PD). The PD route is less arduous for candidates, when compared with a full written assessment and offers greater opportunity for self reflection. Candidates will have a face to face meeting with one of our Assessors, who will assess the application based on the discussion.

CMC remains current through a 3-yearly recertification process - to ensure that the high standards of the award are being maintained. In particular, recertification seeks to ensure that CMC holders are current with their competencies, continuing to keep up their skills and contributing to the profession and standing of consultancy as a profession.
