Margaret has been a NEYH Regional Board member for 3 years and has previously held both the Communications Champion and Secretary role and has recently taken over as CMI Women Champion.
She is a qualified Business & Executive Coach, specialising in transitional and on-boarding coaching at Senior Management & Board Level, across all sectors. Margaret is a Fellow of the CMI, and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals and is a member of the European and Mentoring Coaching Council.
Born and raised in the North East, Margaret began her career as a window dresser and relocated to North Yorkshire, where she quickly progressed within the retail world to Senior Operational Management roles, employed by several Global brands for over 25 years.
In 1999, Margaret became Scarborough's first Town Centre Manager, bringing together the Private and Public sector to help the town centre flourish, winning several awards and achieving many successes. In 2004 Margaret moved into the Recruitment sector, quickly progressing to the Senior Management Team of a Global Recruitment Company, with the responsibility for branches in the North East, North and South Yorkshire and remained there until April 2018.
In 2014 Margaret, established her own Coaching practice, graduating in 2015 with a PGC in Business & Executive Coaching from Leeds Beckett University and now works full-time in her Coaching practice and is also a volunteer Business Advisor for Young Enterprise.
